The Commissioner of State CET Cell, Maharastra has been designated as Competent Authority for conducting PGP-CET/PGO-CET/PGASLP (PGSLP)-CET  & M.Sc.(P&O)-CET  and selection of candidates for admission to all concerned postgraduate courses for the following programmes

Maharashtra PGP / PGO / PGASLP / M.Sc (P and O) - CET  Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate or Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or valid passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as “Indian” shall constitute the proof of nationality.
Non Resident Indians (NRI) are eligible only for maximum 15% NRI Quota seats in the Unaided Private/Minority colleges.
Non Resident Indians (NRI) are not eligible for any other seat except NRI quota seats in unaided private and Private Minority colleges, subject to fulfillment of NRI status.
Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are Not eligible for any seat under Competent Authority, State CET Cell.
A candidate, who has passed A) final B.P.Th./ B.O.Th. examination (recognized as per Maharashtra State Council for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Act 2002): B) Final BASLP/BPO examination (recognized As per The Rehabilitation Council of India Act 1992); from an college/institution situated in the State of Maharashtra is eligible to appear for this examination provided he/she has completed prescribed duration of compulsory rotating internship by 31st August . 
Candidate who is undergoing rotating internship and who is likely to complete the same by 31st August  can appear for PGP-CET/PGO-CET/ PGASLP (PGSLP)- CET  & M.Sc.(P&O)-CET . Such a candidate will have to submit the documentary proof, from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the date of completion of internship at the time of Document Verification process. (Annexure “L” in the prospectus)
The candidate must be medically fit.
All candidates desirous to take admission for M.PTh. / M.OTh./ MASLP (MSc SLP)/ MSc. (P&O) courses under state quota or Institutional quota must have appeared for PGP-CET / PGO-CET / PGASLP (PGSLP)- CET  & M.Sc.(P&O)- CET  and declared eligible by the Competent Authority.
Candidates belonging to Backward Classes / SEBC must have claimed so in his online registration form of Maharashtra State, failing which such a claim will not be entertained subsequently. The candidate belonging to above Categories should produce Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, (wherever applicable) at the time of physical document verification process. Candidate who fails to produce above-said certificates will be considered as Open Category Candidate provided he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria of Open candidate.
EWS category reservation will be made applicable only after approval from State Government in due course.
A Reserve category candidate must claim his category at the time of registration; to claim such a category no document is required initially. A candidate belonging to a category but not having any physical document can also claim category reservation during registration process; however he/she must produce the said certificates at the time of document uploading / physical document verification process so as to avail respective category claim.
Candidate belonging to ‘Creamy Layer’ amongst the categories (VJ) DT -A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, OBC, SBC and SEBC must note that the provision of reservation is NOT applicable to him / her. A candidate claiming benefit of reservation under these categories will be required to produce Non-Creamy Layer Certificate as specified in the Govt. Resolutions form time to time. The certificate in prescribed Proforma stating that it is valid up to 31/3/ should be submitted at the time of document uploading / physical document verification process.
A Candidate belonging to EWS category will be required to produce Eligibility certificate for Economically Weaker Section in prescribed format as specified in Government Resolution from time to time.

Maharashtra PGP / PGO / PGASLP / M.Sc (P and O) - CET  Application Process

The Competent Authority shall issue Notice regarding online application form process. The information Brochure containing procedures for Online Common Entrance Test for admission to MPTh, MOTh, MASLP(MSc.SLP)- & MSc. (P&O) Postgraduate courses in State of Maharashtra will be made available on website www.mahacet.org An applicant seeking admission through PGP-ET/PGOCET/PGASLP-CET  & M.Sc.(P&O)-CET . Will be required to submit single prescribed online application form (ANNEXURE "E" in the prospectus Specimen Copy of online application form).
PGP-CET/PGO-CET/PGASLP(PGSLP)-CET  & M.Sc.(P&O)-CET  will be conducted online at Mumbai only.
Before filling Online Application form candidates should download information brochure of PGP-CET/PGO-CET/ PGASLP(PGSLP) -CET  & M.Sc (P&O)-CET  and read the same carefully. The Applicants must possess the required criteria and educational qualification as mentioned in the Information Brochure of PGP-CET/PGOCET/PGASLP(PGSLP)-CET  & M.Sc.(P&O)-CET .
